The Project
Adventure Rentals is a company that rents camping equipment and trailers to people.
This is an E-commerce website built with WordPress and WooCommerce. The main objective of the site was to integrate a calendar feature to allow its customers to book their equipment straight off the website using a live calendar. One of the most important considerations was to equipped the website with basic inventory management features to prevent overbooking.
The main priority as with every project that I work on was to create a unique customer experience with its design and architecture that would delight users as well as make it easy for them to book their equipment.
A social feature was built into the site to enable users to engage with the products and the company in a singular way that would enable the customers to see the experience of the products through the eyes of new clients. A new hashtag #YOUSHOULDBECAMPING was created and an integration with Instagram bridging the gap between the website and social media.
